As part of Dumfries Welfare Rights constitution is to improve the provision of quality advice. We are inviting KEY workers within relevant organisations and agencies to train and understand the benefit system. Allowing them to help others within their own work setting understand the benefit system.
Do the staff or volunteers within your organisation need to improve their knowledge or expertise in providing advice about disability benefits or the benefit system? Are you able to maintain the provision of high quality advice in light of the ever-changing rules of entitlement?
Instead of paying the cost of travelling expenses and over night accommodation, has your organisation ever considered using your local Dumfries Welfare Rights to train your staff and volunteers. We can run any of the courses featured in our training programme or provide a course more tailored to your client groups. In many cases we will also provide local accessible venues in your area.Free membership forms available.
